FABULOUS post WWII skirt with a wonderful belt. The inverted pleats at the front are so figure flattering. You cannot FIND a skirt with this kind of design on the racks today. The waist can be finished with a plain or wide pointed belt accented with a snazzy button. BELTS are in! This classic should never go out of style. What a fun use for plaids! Measurements: Waist 24 - 26 and hip 33 -35.

NOTE: the blouses and shawls are not part of this pattern. This is for the skirt and blouse. This skirt hits mid calf length ... so era specific!

Almost any fabric will work. Satin to silk, velvet, cotton, gabardine, cashmere, soft wools, cotton, Everglaze, pique, novelty cotton and something wonderful in PLAID! I have Tons of wonderful vintage fabric listings at Toinette's ... take a peek!
