The artist has used two manufactures for this beautiful set. The pitcher is B & C Limoges and the cups are D & C Limoges. Each design really compliments the other. The artist has painted the bottom of the pieces in a celery green color and the upper portions a creamy white separating the background colors with a gold band. He has applied coin gold to the handles and the rims of each piece. The floral motif looks like it could be pink wild roses or maybe a fruit blossom of some kind. He has added these flowers, leaves and buds on brown stems around the upper portion of each piece. The floral design looks like it may have been stenciled on and then the artist painted it. You can see the black outline of the design and also the black accents in the leaves. There are no chips or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.

Backstamp: B & Co Mark 1 1900-1914 D&Co Mark 3 1894-1900

Measures: Pitcher -8 6/8” W (with Handle) 7 ½” W (opening) 5 ¾” H Cups – 4” W x 2 ¼” H
