Nice Old Victorian Cameo Necklace

This is an elegant old gold toned cameo necklace. The chain around the front and sides is 1/2" wide and is a book chain. The carved shell cameo is mounted on a gold toned slide that is about 1 1/4" x a little less than 1". The necklace including the pieces at the back is about 16" long and it has a spring ring closure. The metal appears to be gilded brass and the necklace has a few black spots that may or may not be where the finish is gone. That is to be expected in a necklace this old, I think, but other than that, it is good condition with no markings.
