From the 1940's - A Newsboy Pin!

This is definitely a brooch depicting a certain time and place in our history. Corner newsboys are no more, but before the time of computers and television, they were the main source of breaking news. This guy is made of gold toned metal - and he is about 1 3/4" x 1". There are clear rhinestones on the paper and his costume, and he has a red enameled shirt, and black enameled shoes, as well as black enameling on the top of his hat. The brooch is in good condition for it's age with all the rhinestones, and some enamel loss on the black parts. It is not marked.
