Shimmering Koi fish swim lazily in cool blue waters glinting in the sun. Layered combination of dichroic and colored American Bullseye art glass. Bits of glass previously combined are added to the layers to create the look of swirling waters. Dichroic fused art glass pendant created by a combination of glass beadmaking elements and kiln fused "glass gems". Dichroic (two color) refers to the ability of the glass, through metal deposition, to both transmit and reflect light, each a different color. Add to this the opportunity to use visual texture and you have a constantly changing, ever appealing glass jewel. Pendant is just under 2 inches long on all Sterling Silver components and special bar link combination chain. It is trimmed with Aurora Borealis faceted crystal rounds, 18 inches long. You'll see teal, blue, pink, and gold dichroic shimmers suspended in the glass. An elegant and unusual piece that will change depending on the background, bare skin or blouse/shirt color! My photography skills (sorry) can't begin the capture the fantastic play of light and color on and in this delightful pendant, see for yourself. Loose yourself in zen meditation watching graceful Koi swim.
