This beautiful ANTIQUE thimble is LOVELY in Rose Gold & Sterling. The Rose Gold Color Band on this sewing tool has impressed squares around the btm. The Band itself has MAGNIFICENT Highly Detailed chased ~ carved looking designs that resemble Victorian Era 'curley-q's'. There is also a blank area where initials were engraved MANY Years ago. I am fairly certain from the style of the lettering "LMW" - that these were not those of the Original owner - perhaps it has already been passed down at least once. It is also Marked with the number '10' - the size of this Victorian sewing thimble.

ANTIQUE Silver sewing accessory is Quite Substantial WEIGHING ~ 6.5 Grams. It is is Marked up inside the top (apex) with the Hallmark for 'Ketcham & McDougall' as well as 'Sterling'.

Highly Collectible sewing tool MEASURES ~ 7/8 Inches Tall and is in VERY NICE CONDITION! ...NO Holes, Cracks, Repairs or Excessive Wear - it is not "out-of-round" & has not been professionally polished... retains OLD Patina that could easily be removed if so desired.
