Recently purchased from an estate sale this brass buckle dates from 1900-1910 and features an intricate design of scrolls and lions, it measures 3 by 2 ½ inches and is curved in design. There are no markings and it is in great condition, it could be polished for a better shine but I will leave that decision to the new owner as I prefer the original patina; very unique piece.
