SALE Ornate Victorian Watch Fob

Offered is an ornate watch fob that dates from the late 1800s, the only marking I found were “H.H.” on the side of the clasp where the chain attaches to the watch, this is probably the original owners initials. The watch chain measures 15 inches long (lying flat end to end including the section with the “T” bar), the fob measures 4 ¼ by ¾ inches and has a very intricate layered construction, the “caps” on the end of the chain section have a very nice etched design. It is in great condition with very few signs of wear and it has nice weight; the metal is brass that has gold colored plating. This fob was part of a large collection of Victorian and Edwardian jewelry that I purchased from the estate of a former antique dealer and had been in storage for nearly 40 years.
