One of a cache of wonderfully illustrated old cookbooks, this one was published in 1972 and written Paul Mayer. The multitudinous and charming illustrations, so indicative of an era, are by Craig Torlucci (souffles) and Mike Nelson (quiches). This is an edition from Nitty Gritty Productions' (which was out of Concord, Calif.) "2 in 1" cookbooks, which starred the two dishes on flip-over, opposing sides of the volume. Eighty-five pages are devoted to quiches and 86 to souffles. Measurements are 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" A bit of age-appropriate wear to the cover, but otherwise in excellent vintage condition as all pages are intact and well bound.
