Carnelian is treasured for its luminous deep red color, and is often thought to have healing powers. It has also been used as a birthstone in many ancient civilizations. Artisan Lefialynn has used vintage carnelian beads in two sizes (3/8" to 1/4") with a 1 1/4" long focal bead of carnelian with tonal shading. There are small gold filled beads at the neck line, ending with a gold filled toggle clasp. Necklace is strung on fine gold tone wire.
