Victorian Metal Buckle Repousse Design Classic Female

Victorian era silver tone metal buckle with a woman's head and neck in repousse work. This buckle has a squared rectangular shape and the woman is framed in a beaded oval. She has a Grecian style hairdo and around her neck is a cross. Buckle measures 2 1/4" x 2" and the raised center portion is 1/2" high. There are some light surface scratches and a small bend on the side above the hook portion of the buckle fastener. Probably silver plate over brass metal, with a bit of the brass showing through on the edges, but still in very good condition for its age.
