Vintage Inkwell Holder - Black Children on Fence

This old piece looks like a Vienna bronze but is actually made of a lead or pot metal. It has two little black boys, wearing only red and white stripped pants, playing on a "wooden" fence. One is straddling a fence post and the other is crawling between the slats. The fence is painted white with black and all of the knotholes are painted yellow. Attached to the fence is a wire ring that holds a glass inkwell with a metal, hinged lid. I believe this is from the early 1900's, possibly German.

It measures about 3" high and 4" wide and the condition is very good with only a minimal amount of paint wear. There is no damage to the inkwell.
