Vintage Nancy Ann Storybook Doll - Autumn with Original Box

This pretty little doll is an old Nancy Ann Storybook Doll from the Seasons Series. She has her original gold foil wrist tag the reads; 92, Autumn on one side and; Storybook Dolls by Nancy Ann, on the other. Her dress is an unusual color, an off color pink with yellow-green highlights adorned with a magenta ribbon and bodice. She's wearing a flat felt hat over her curled auburn colored hair. Under the full skirt of her dress is her original white slip and white panties and little painted black shoes. She is made of plastic and has moveable head, arms and legs. Written in pencil on the inside of her slip is; Dec. 25, 1954.

She fits snuggly in her original box with "Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls" and pink polka dots covering the outside. There is a silver foil label on one end that reads; Seasons Series - Autumn 92. There is also an original price sticker with a price of $1.95. The date; Dec. 25, 1954 is written on the bottom of the inside of the box. She also comes with the original paper pamphlets that were probably enclosed with every Nancy Ann doll in the late 1950's or early 60's. On the front of one, below Storybook Dolls is a portrait and signature of Nancy Ann and the slogan; Wee Dolls for Wee Collectors. Inside is a listing of the available dolls at the time including Fairytale, Fairyland, Mother Goose, Nursery Rhyme and Bridal. The other pamphlet is for Playtime Dolls by Nancy Ann. It features Muffie and many of the costumes that were available for her.

The doll measures about 6" to the top of her hat and is in very good condition with no notable wear and no damage. Her wrist tag is torn but still attached and the top of her hat is a bit dusty. The box measures about 7 1/4" square and 3 1/8" deep. It is in fairly nice condition with light however one corner is torn as shown in the pictures and the inside liner has a torn piece.
