Signed Designer Costume Jewelry, Early and 1930's Art Deco, Beautiful Unsigned Costume Jewelry
At the center of bracelet is an amazing three dimensional design. Leading up to the central motif are small glass seed pearl beads that wrap around climbing closer to the apex as if it were a roadway. The center of the design sits high on the summit. At the peak are four gold tone metal leaves, ornately designed with a center vein and veins going from the center to the edge of the leaves. Ten oblong coral glass beads move freely, and are wired into the center of the pattern, with head pins in obvious sight. Two faceted rhinestones accent the leaves and the coral blossoms at the center; the rhinestones appear to have been wired into place as well.
The bracelet is such that it can fit just about any wrist. A 7” wrist would probably make a perfect fit so that the two ends of bracelet touch one another. I have never thought that having the two ends touching was of any importance! I wear a bracelet that measures 7 1/2”, and the ends are slightly parted. The width of the bracelet is 1 1/2” This bracelet is truly in the style of many of the masters who mostly in the late 30’s 40’s and 50’s showed us their art, and ingenuity when making hand wired jewelry.
