American Victorian epergne or center piece

Last quarter 19th century. Un-marked, American Victorian epergne or center piece. Large and impressive, beautifully cast solid brass with fine, crisp detail through out featuring a single fluted cased glass, enamel decorated horn reminiscent of Mt Washington glass. The vase is being held by a winged and crowned female figure in Classical dress. In her right hand is what appears to be an oar. She is standing on a round ball that is decorated around it's circumference with fine applied flowers. The ball is attached to the surface of the plate with three curved legs ending in hooves. The ball is held together with a nicely turned finial between the legs. The plate has a deeply cast edging of Fleur di leis type flowers and a decorative detail on the inside edge. The plate sits on a turned pedestal base which rests on three claw feet. The entire piece is solid cast brass in extra nice original condition with no damage and no repairs. Some wear to the enamel on the flute. 28 " high x 12" plate diameter.
