Call of the Sirens - This breathtaking necklace features opulent green amethyst (prasiolite) gemstones of unparalleled quality in color, clarity and cut. The full teardrop briolettes graduate in size from 11x18mm to 13x24mm. Between the teardrops sit equally beautiful faceted green amethyst rondelles, ranging from 8x10mm to 9x11mm. The color of these stones is a perfect pale green, and the clarity is breathtaking. Nota bene: because these are genuine gemstones, some occlusions are present in certain stones - these do not detract from the beauty of the piece; rather, they confirm its authenticity.

There are roughly 800 carats of prasiolite (585 carats as briolettes and 215 carats as rondelles) in this necklace - opulent, ethereal, eternal. I knotted the stones on pale green silk, and on either side of each stone rests a small solid 18K gold granulated daisy. The center stone is embraced by 18K gold granulated stars. The necklace, which measures just under 21.5", is finished with loops of tiny 18K gold rounds and an ornately-embellished clasp of solid 18K gold.

I am able to create matching earrings of green amethyst and 18K gold (an example is shown in one of the photographs). If you would like a full set, email me so we can discuss size of stones. Due to the weight of the stones in the necklace, I created the earrings in the photograph with smaller briolettes and rondelles; if you prefer the more dramatic stones for your earrings, let me know.
