Opulentia Elegans - Platinum Saltwater Akoya Pearl, Sapphire and 18K Gold Earrings

Tasteful Opulence...these earrings showcase a set of cultured Japanese saltwater Akoya pearls of an iridescent platinum hue (not dyed, not irradiated, wholly natural colour). The pearls have fine lustre with some surface irregularities that only demonstrate their organic nature. Measuring 7mm, they are visually if not geometrically round. Crowning each of the pearls are alternating smooth sapphires of Burmese pink and Ceylonese blue. The deep pink and soft cornflower blue are natural. Small granulated discs of 18K gold separate sapphire from pearl and add sparkle to the dangles. Each of the pearls is wire-wrapped on my hand-made 18K gold ball headpins directly to a length of 18K gold, which enhances the tasseled movement of the earrings. The earrings finishes with 18K gold ear wires.

There is a matching necklace available separately and shown in the last photographs (NCK-237). The earrings fall 1.5" from the ear wires and ship in a gift box.
