The Magnolia pattern, circa 1943, shows an embossed massive white blossom on a rough background. The blossoms have rose centers and some are not fully open. They are supported by wavy black twigs that wind though-out the pattern. The textured and soft colored backgrounds came in three color combinations. Over 60 different styles of the pattern exist. This rather unusual item is a large ash tray has a background of terra cotta blended with green. It has two handles and measures 7 1/2" from handle-to-handle and 2 1/4 deep. Marked on the base "Roseville - U.S.A. - 28". There are no cracks, chips, repairs or crazing on this item. A very nice piece and great cross-over collectible.
