Sparkling Rich TOPAZ Glass Navettes & Aurora Borealis Demi-Parure-BOOK

Stunning vintage demi-parure, composed of a 2 1/2" long curved spray brooch and beautiful clip-back earrings. Both of the jewelry pieces are set with Topaz unfoiled rhinestone navettes that sparkle with deep fire. The brooch has partially open back stones, the rhinestones secured in dogtooth settings. Each of the matching clip back earrings are also set with sparkling navettes, plus a gorgeous Aurora Borealis center stone (much more richly colored with blue, green, rose and gold than can be seen in the photo). All of the navette stones are prong set on the earrings, and the center Aurora Borealis is mounted in a dogtooth setting, as well, exactly like the brooch. The earrings are virtual 'twins' to a gorgeous pair featured on page 65 of the 2003 jewelry guide, 'Beautiful Rhinestones' by Ronna Lee Atkins. Both the brooch and the clip earrings are in Excellent condition, with no finish wear to the gold plated brooch or scratching to the stones--no chips or loss of brilliance. The earrings have a tiny bit of finish wear to the plating on the exterior back of the clips, consistent with its age and normal use. The Aurora Borealis stones are blazing with light and color on all pieces.
